Treatment Q&A
  • Q. What is forehead thread lifting?
Toxnfill Forehead thread lifting is a non-surgical lifting treatment that uses specialized threads to lift the forehead and brows without incisions, unlike a surgical forehead lift. Its key benefit is helping improve droopy eyelids and forehead wrinkles for a brighter, more refreshed appearance.
  • Q. Who is forehead thread lifting recommended for?
Toxnfill Forehead thread lifting is recommended for those who experience obstructed vision or a heavy-looking appearance due to droopy eyelids, have deep forehead wrinkles or pronounced frown lines, or want to improve a tired-looking expression without undergoing surgery.
  • Q. What is the difference between a forehead lift and forehead thread lifting?
Toxnfill The biggest difference between a surgical forehead lift and forehead thread lifting is the treatment method. A surgical forehead lift involves making incisions in the scalp to directly release and lift the forehead muscles and skin. In contrast, forehead thread lifting is a non-surgical treatment that uses specialized threads without incisions, offering a shorter recovery period and no concerns about visible scars.
  • Q. Can forehead thread lifting be combined with other treatments?
Toxnfill Yes. Forehead thread lifting can be combined with other treatments for enhanced results. For example, botox can help reduce forehead muscle movement and soften wrinkles, while filler can be used to add volume where needed.
Precautions

Self-care is as significant as skincare for treatment effects.
Please read through cautions closely and follow them.

  • Cleansing and applying makeup can be done 2-3 hours after the procedure.
It is recommended to keep the Duoderm on the treated area until it fully heals.
  • Please take your prescribed medication consistently for 3 days to prevent inflammation and reduce pain. If you have a history of allergies to antibiotics or any other medications, please be sure to inform us.
  • To reduce swelling, sleep in a straight position for 3 days.
  • It is recommended to avoid drinking, sauna/jjimjilbang visits, hot baths, and intense exercise for a week after the treatment.
  • Bruising, swelling, pain, or a foreign body sensation may occur, but these usually subside within 1-2 weeks. However, if pain worsens after taking the prescribed medication, or if you experience persistent skin discoloration, itching, or warmth, please contact the clinic and visit.
  • In rare cases, depending on skin condition, threads may come out to the surface of the treated area. If this occurs, please avoid touching them with your hands and visit the clinic for proper treatment. For any other discomfort or concerns, please contact the clinic.
