Treatment Q&A
  • Q. Who can receive the First Visit Event benefits?
Toxnfill This promotion is available to customers visiting Toxnfill Konkuk University Branch for the first time.

It includes various first-visit offers, from approachable treatments such as Jaw Botox, Wrinkle Botox, Contour Injection, Toning, and Aqua Peel to Shurink Universe, Low-Pain Skin Botox, Rejuran, Potenza + Juvelook, and Ultherapy Prime.
  • Q. It is my first time visiting a skin clinic. Which treatment should I start with?
Toxnfill There is no need to receive multiple treatments from the beginning. An easy way to start is by identifying the skin concern that currently bothers you most.

Botox can be considered for developed jaw muscles or expression lines. Aqua Peel can be considered when sebum, dead skin cells, or pores need to be addressed, while Toning can be considered for pigmentation and a dull skin tone.

For concerns about facial contours and sagging, Shurink Universe and Ultherapy Prime can be compared. For enlarged pores, fine lines, uneven skin texture, and overall skin condition, Low-Pain Skin Botox, Rejuran, and Potenza + Juvelook can be considered.
  • Q. What is the difference between Jaw Botox and Contour Injection?
Toxnfill Both treatments are used to refine facial contours, but they target different concerns.

Jaw Botox reduces the movement of developed masseter muscles to address a jawline that appears wide due to muscle development.

Contour Injection, on the other hand, is an injectable treatment used in facial areas where unwanted fat is a concern.

Jaw Botox can therefore be considered when a wide or square jaw is caused by developed jaw muscles, while Contour Injection can be considered when unwanted fat around the cheeks or jaw is the primary concern.
  • Q. Which skin concerns are Lucas Toning and Aqua Peel suitable for?
Toxnfill The two treatments address different types of skin concerns.

Lucas Toning uses laser energy to target melanin pigment and can be considered for concerns such as melasma, dark spots, and a dull skin tone.

Aqua Peel uses solutions and suction to remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface and sebum and impurities from the pores. It is used when concerns include excess sebum, blackheads, dead skin cells, and clogged pores.

Simply put, Lucas Toning is suited to concerns about pigmentation and skin tone, while Aqua Peel is suited to pore concerns involving sebum and blackheads.
  • Q. How is Low-Pain Skin Botox different from regular Skin Botox?
Toxnfill Toxnfill Konkuk University Branch’s Low-Pain Skin Botox follows a comprehensive protocol designed to reduce discomfort, covering everything from anesthesia and a reduced-pain solution to needle selection and the injection method.

A generous amount of numbing cream is applied and left on for at least 30 minutes. The Botox product is then opened in front of the customer and mixed with the reduced-pain solution in front of them. Ultrafine needles are used afterward, with the injection points and depths carefully adjusted for each treatment area.
  • Q. What is the difference between Rejuran and Potenza + Juvelook?
Toxnfill Both treatments can be used to address skin texture, enlarged pores, and overall skin condition, but they differ in their ingredients and how they target the skin.

Rejuran is a skin booster that delivers PN (polynucleotide) directly into the skin. It is used to support skin regeneration and address concerns such as fine lines, uneven texture, and loss of firmness.

Potenza + Juvelook combines the pumping tip of Potenza, a microneedle RF device, with Juvelook, which contains PDLLA and HA. It pairs Potenza’s microneedle RF energy with Juvelook’s collagen-stimulating properties to address multiple concerns, including enlarged pores, uneven texture, and loss of firmness.

The main difference is that Rejuran focuses on skin regeneration through direct PN injection, while Potenza + Juvelook combines microneedle RF with a collagen booster.
  • Q. What is the difference between Shurink Universe and Ultherapy Prime?
Toxnfill Both are lifting treatments that deliver focused ultrasound energy to targeted depths beneath the skin to address facial contours and sagging.

Shurink Universe uses cartridges for different treatment depths to deliver focused ultrasound energy according to the treatment area. The First Visit Event includes Shurink Universe 300 Shots.

A key feature of Ultherapy Prime is that it delivers ultrasound energy while using real-time ultrasound imaging to view structures beneath the skin. This allows the treatment to be planned according to the target tissue and depth. The First Visit Event includes Ultherapy Prime 100 Shots.

Rather than comparing the treatments solely based on 300 shots versus 100 shots, it is important to consider differences in the devices, the availability of real-time ultrasound imaging, the treatment area, and how the treatment is planned.
  • Q. Which skin concerns are Low-Pain Skin Botox, Rejuran, and Potenza + Juvelook suitable for?
Toxnfill All 3 treatments can be used to address skin texture and overall skin condition, but they differ in their primary ingredients and approaches.

Low-Pain Skin Botox involves carefully injecting botulinum toxin into the superficial layers of the skin to address concerns such as fine lines, uneven texture, and enlarged pores. At Toxnfill Konkuk University Branch, it is mixed with a Water Glow Injection solution to also address hydration and radiance.

Rejuran delivers PN directly into the skin and is used when concerns include skin regeneration, fine lines, uneven texture, loss of firmness, and an overall decline in skin condition.

Potenza + Juvelook combines microneedle RF with Juvelook, which contains PDLLA and HA. It can be considered when enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, and loss of firmness associated with reduced collagen are concerns.
Precautions

Self-care is as significant as skincare for treatment effects.
Please read through cautions closely and follow them.

  • For 3–7 days after the procedure, it is best to avoid excessive drinking, saunas or jjimjilbangs, hot baths, and strenuous exercise.
  • It is best to avoid rubbing or irritating the treated area. (Please refrain from intense massages or meridian massages for one month.)
  • It is recommended to use a moisturizer frequently, and always apply sunscreen when going outside.
  • To help evenly distribute the fat-dissolving ingredients, gently massage the treated area starting 2–3 hours after the procedure and continue for about 2–3 days.
  • After the procedure, depending on individual differences, you may experience temporary skin soreness, mild swelling, bruising, or redness for several days.
